Classroom + Live Fire Range Session
This two-part Basic Pistol Fundamentals course is designed to build safe, confident, and competent handgun handling skills for new and developing shooters.
The course combines in-depth classroom instruction with a supervised live-fire range session, allowing students to first learn and practice core concepts before applying them in a controlled, real-world environment.
This training is ideal for first-time firearm owners, new shooters, or anyone seeking a structured and professional introduction to safe and effective handgun use.
Course Structure
Part 1 – Classroom Instruction (6 Hours)
Held at the Apex Tactical Athletics Onsite Location.
Covers safety principles, fundamentals, and dry practice.
Part 2 – Live Fire Range Session (1 Hour)
Scheduled with your instructor during weekday evening hours at
Riverside Magnum Range.

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled classroom session may be transferred to a future course date, subject to availability.
No refunds for late cancellations or no-shows. Raincheck within 48 hours of the clas may be granted at the discretion of APEX Tactical Athletics for special circumstances only.
