Most fitness programs are built by trainers. Most firearms programs are built by instructors.
This one is built by both — with a PhD between them.

ONE COACH.
BOTH WORLDS.

Anyone can write a workout program. Anyone can teach you to shoot. Nobody else is doing both from a position of genuine expertise in both disciplines.

Dr. Rehan Tahir holds a PhD in Health and Human Performance. He is an NSCA CSCS — the gold standard credential in strength and conditioning — and a TSAC-F, specifically credentialed for tactical populations. He is also a licensed firearms instructor operating at Riverside Magnum Range.

THE GUN IS ONE
PART OF THE PLAN.

You've invested in your firearm. In your holster. In your training. You take the responsibility seriously — that's why you're here.

But physical capability is the part most carriers have ignored. Not because they don't care — because nobody built the right program for them.

This program is for the carrier who is ready to make their body match the commitment they've already made to carrying.

01
Uncomfortable all-day carry
Bodyweight and posture directly affect how your firearm sits and how long you carry comfortably. This program addresses both.
02
The firearm as plan A
Physical confrontations don't always create space to draw. If your body isn't prepared, you're down to one option.
03
No positional strength
Kneeling, prone, moving from cover — these require specific strength. General fitness programs don't train them. This one does.
04
No foundation to build on
Tactical fitness requires a base. You can't build capability on a broken foundation. Phase 1 is that foundation — built intentionally.

FOUNDATION OF
FIREARMS FITNESS

A progressive multi-phase series. Each phase builds directly on the last. Phase 1 is the prerequisite — that's not a sales tactic, that's how human adaptation works.

Anatomical Adaptation
Building Capacity for What Comes Next

Phase 1 is not a general fitness program. It is the deliberate construction of a physical foundation — connective tissue integrity, aerobic base, fundamental movement patterns, positional strength, and grip development. Everything in Phase 2 and beyond is built on top of what you build here.

Phase 1 Outcomes
Connective tissue and joints prepared for Phase 2 barbell loading
Aerobic base established — Zone 2 capacity supporting all future conditioning
Fundamental movement patterns grooved — squat, hinge, push, pull, carry
Positional strength introduced — tall kneeling, prone, loaded carry
Grip strength baseline built — farmer's carries, plate pinch, functional holds
Bodyweight reduction initiated through increased activity and body composition shift
Physical confidence developed — the carry feels different when your body matches the commitment

Phase 2 takes the base built in Phase 1 and develops it into real strength. Barbell work begins. Rep ranges drop. Intervals replace steady-state. Body composition changes become visible — and physical confidence becomes undeniable.

Phase 2 Outcomes (Preview)
Muscle mass developed — metabolic rate increases, fat loss accelerates
Barbell strength established — squat, deadlift, bench, row progressions
Interval conditioning built — work:rest ratios that mirror real-world stress
Advanced positional work — half-kneeling loading, suitcase carries, landmine rotation
Grip strength peak — towel pulls, thick bar holds, heavy farmer's carries

Phase 3 is where the foundation becomes a weapon. Explosive power, stress inoculation conditioning, and firearms-specific movement integration. Built on Phases 1 and 2 — not possible without them.

Phase 3 Outcomes (Preview)
Explosive power — rate of force development for real-world demands
Stress inoculation conditioning — performance under elevated heart rate
Firearms-specific movement integration — position transitions under load

EVERY SESSION.
EVERY DETAIL.

5-Block Workout Structure
Every session: Warm-Up, Main Block, Accessory, Core Progression, Cooldown breathing. Non-negotiable. This is where injury prevention and recovery live.
30 Fully Programmed Workouts
Sets, reps, RPE targets, rest periods, and load guidance for every exercise. Nothing left to guess or improvise.
Positional Strength Training
Tall kneeling cable press, prone rows, loaded carries — programmed into every Friday session. Unique to this program.
Grip Development Protocol
Farmer's carries and plate pinch work every week. Your grip matters on the draw and in a physical encounter.
Dual Conditioning Modalities
Tuesday Zone 2 steady-state builds aerobic base. Thursday intervals progress from 30-second efforts to 1-minute hard pushes by Week 5.
Bridge Athletics App Delivery
Track every set, log loads, access exercise video demos. The same platform used by elite athletic programs.
Evidence-Based Periodization
Anatomical Adaptation → Peak Block → Deload. Weeks 1–4 build base, Week 5 peaks, Week 6 recovers. How real adaptation works.
Built-In Deload Week
Week 6 is non-negotiable. 50% volume, RPE 5 ceiling. Where the adaptation from five weeks of work actually consolidates.

PhD · CSCS · TSAC-F · NASM CES · Firearms Instructor

Dr. Rehan Tahir has spent 25+ years in the trenches — coaching real people through real transformation. A health setback forced him to rebuild himself from scratch, which produced a deeper understanding of how the human body actually adapts. That's the foundation every program is built on.

He is the only coach in this space who holds a doctoral degree in Health and Human Performance, the NSCA's tactical strength credential, and a full suite of firearms instructor certifications. The intersection of those two worlds is not an accident — it's the point.
